Motorola launched Motorola xoom Wi-Fi and 3G model tablets.It is world's first device powered by Android 3.0. It has 1 Ghz dual-core processor and 1 GB RAM. It has also 2MP front-facing and rear-facing cameras.It include Google Mobile services on a 10.1 inch widescreen HD display.Motorola xoom supports a beat version of Adobe Flash Player 10.2. It features a built-in gyroscope, barometer, e-compass, accelerometer and adaptive lighting. The tablet supports up to 10 hours of video playback.The price of Motorola xoom are Rs.34,490 and Rs.41,490 respectively.

UNIX : How to get record count from zipped file

Sometimes we may need to get records count from file . For that we can use wc -l , command with file name. In some situation the file will be in compressed format . wc -l will not directly work with zipped files . In this case we can do zcat the file and pipe the word count command with it. Example : Let say we have a file cricketData.dat.gz To get word count from the file use : zcat cricketData.dat.gz | wc -l This will give the record count.
